Claim To Fame: She is best known for her roles as a child star, especially as Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.

Family Life: Cartwright married Steve Gullion in 1976 and has two children, Jesse and Rebecca Gullion.

Info: Cartwright was born in England, but grew up in the U.S. as a child actress. She spent seven seasons on the TV series, Make Room for Daddy, and went on to appear in several films, including her famous role as Brigitta von Trapp in The Sound of Music. She played Penny Robinson in the hit TV series Lost in Space (1965-1968), and also appeared in TV commercials and on stage in the theatre.

Trivia: Older sister is actress Veronica Cartwright.

Cartwright has been an artist and photographer for many years. She has a studio in Studio City, California which displays her fine art. Recently, three collections of her images as artist papers, vellums and transparencies were released under the name Angela Cartwright Artist Papers.

She also has two lines of rubber stamps called The Unruly Shadows and Unruly Girls Club made from her sketches.

Cartwright has taught classes on her photo art techniques, and also authored her third book, In This Garden - Explorations In Mixed-Media Narrative, which was released last spring.

Her first two books In This House - A Collection of Altered Art Imagery and Collage Techniques, which she co-wrote with artist Sarah Fishburn, and Mixed Emulsions - Altered Art for Photographic Imagery.

Where Are They Now: According to her website, you can join Cartwright on her Sound of Music tour in Bavaria and Austria in October 2017. She will take folks around Salzburg and share memories and behind the scenes stories.
