Claim To Fame: Erin Gray is an American actress, best known for her roles as Colonel Wilma Deering in the science fiction television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and as Kate Summers-Stratton in the sitcom Silver Spoons.

Family Life: Gray has been married twice. Her first husband, Ken Schwartz, was her high school sweetheart. The marriage lasted from 1968 to 1990. Together they have one son, Kevan Ray Schwartz. Gray then married Richard Hissong in 1991, and their daughter Samantha was born the same year.

Info: Gray attended Redwood High School and finished her last semester at Pacific Palisades High School.

She briefly attended college at UCLA, majoring in mathematics, but she left school to pursue a career in modeling and moved to New York.

Her first husband Ken Schwartz, a successful real estate executive, eventually became her manager after her acting career took off.

Trivia: Gray was signed to a seven-year contract at Universal Studios, which led directly to her taking the role of Colonel Wilma Deering in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. What started as a theatrically released movie, became a weekly TV series.

Gray stated that the uniform she wore during her time on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century was so tight that she had to be sewn into it.

Gray is also a casting agent. Her agency, Heroes for Hire, specializes in booking sci-fi and fantasy stars for personal appearances, speaking engagements, and charity events.

Is a longtime enthusiast regarding ancient arts, and is an instructor of Tai Chi and Qi Gong (Chi Kung) at UCLA.

In 1998, Gray wrote a book Act Right with Mara Purl which contains advice for novice television and movie actors.

In 2010, Gray and Gil Gerard returned to Buck Rogers by playing the characters' parents in the pilot episode of the Buck Rogers web series.

Where Are They Now: It looks like 2019 has been a big year for Gray. She recently completed her role as Judge Ariel Harper in the family drama Finding Grace. She also has three projects that are currently in post-production; the sci-fi film In-World War, the romantic comedy TV movie A Christmas Princess, and the short film The Music Teacher.
