She is best known for her roles in Manhattan (for which she received an Oscar nomination), Star 80, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
Family Life:
She was married to Stephen Crisman from 1984- 2009. She and Crisman had two daughters together, model Dree Crisman (born 1987) and Langley Crisman (born 1989). As of early 2011, Hemingway has been romantically linked with former stuntman Bobby Williams, with whom she has co-authored several self-help books.

Hemingway first appeared on screen with her sister Margaux in the film Lipstick (1976). She received notice for her acting and was nominated as "Best Newcomer" for the Golden Globes Award that year. She became well knowon for her role in Woody Allen's Manhattan (1979). She portrayed high school student Tracy who is also Allen's lover. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
She went on to play a bisexual track and field athlete in Personal Best (1982), which was noted for some explicit (by mainstream standards) lesbian love scenes. She also appeared in a pictorial in the April 1982 issue of Playboy and was on the cover.
She starred as Dorothy Stratten in Star 80 (1983), a film about the Playboy model's life and murder. She was also featured in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987) as Lacy Warfield. Hemingway also co-starred in the 1991?93 ABC series Civil Wars.

Where Are They Now:
Currently, Hemingway hosts Spiritual Cinema, a monthly television show dedicated to spiritual films. She also hosts a series of yoga practice videos Yoga Now, with guru Rodney Yee.
She worked on the documentary film Running from Crazy, chronicling the Hemingway family's history of suicide, substance abuse and mental illness, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013. In October 2013, Hemingway received a humanitarian award from the San Diego Film Festival for her role in the documentary.
