Claim To Fame: Damian has found fame as a singer, actor, and Broadway star. He is well-known for his roles as Danny Romalotti on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, and as Joseph in the Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Family Life: He has been married to his wife, Janeen, since 1998.

Info: Damian recorded his first solo album at the age of 17, which yielded the Top 40 hit, "She Did It". He established a successful singing career when his single "Rock On" soared to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

He went on to release five albums and achieve eight Top 40 hits including the song "Was It Nothing At All." He also recorded a number one hit in Europe with Turkish pop star Pinar Aydin called "Don't Make Me Wait." In France, he recorded the summer hit single "Reggae Life", with Indra.

On the acting front, Damian made his film debut in the Garry Marshall directed comedy "Young Doctors in Love" (1982) and had a recurring role for two seasons on NBC's "The Facts of Life" (1979). His biggest acting role was his eight-year run as Danny Romalotti on the number one rated daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless."

Combining his love of music and theater, Damian played the starring role in Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice's Broadway production, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". He followed the show from L.A. to New York, where it succeeded in breaking Broadway's box office records.

It was his performance on "New American Bandstand 1965" in 1981 that impressed the producers of "The Young and the Restless" (1973).

Where Are They Now: After years in front of the camera, Damian shifted into the world of directing. In 2005 he formed Riviera Films with his wife Janeen Damian to develop and produce independent films.

He has since served as director, writer and producer of all of the company?s completed feature films, including Moondance Alexander and the crime comedy Hot Tamale.

He most recently directed 20th Century Fox?s Flicka 2 and is the writer/director of Marley and Me: The Terrible 2's, shooting this fall. Next, he'll be serving as writer/director/producer on the romantic comedy Christmas at Castlebury Hall.
