Bloom's performance as assassin Charlotte Corday in the Broadway production of "Marat/Sade" in 1967 led to film offers, most notably in Medium Cool (1969) and Clint Eastwood's High Plains Drifter (1973).
She has had roles in more than 30 films and television episodes since the 1960s, including playing Mary, mother of Jesus, in The Last Temptation of Christ in 1988 and Marion Wormer in Animal House in 1978.
Trivia:
Attended the School of Fine Arts in Boston University, graduating with a BFA in 1959.
She later studied at the Herbert Berghof Studio in New York City.
Co-founded the Trident Playhouse in Denver and also worked as a box-office custodian, publicity chief and janitress.
Is Jewish.
Where Are They Now:
Unfortunately, I could not locate much recent information on Bloom. Her most recent acting credits include a guest appearance as Molly Lapham on a 2003 episode of The Long Goodbye, and in the 2003 video short Where Are They Now: A Delta Alumni Update as Marion Wormer.
