Claim To Fame: Amy Jo Johnson is an American-Canadian actress, filmmaker, singer-songwriter, and director best known for her role as Kimberly Hart, aka The Pink Ranger, on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She also starred on popular television series Felicity, The Division, and Flashpoint.

Family Life: Johnson is married to Olivier Giner. The two live in Toronto, Canada and have one child together.

Attended Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

She became a Canadian citizen on June 23, 2015, making her a dual-citizen of the United States and Canada.

Departed from Felicity in 2000 was that she needed to grieve for her mother. Her mother had died two years previously and she felt that being on such a prominent show hadn't given her the time or space to do so.

Bears such as strong resemblance to fellow actress Jennifer Garner, fans often confuse the two, and whenever this happens, Johnson takes it in stride and sometimes signs autographs as Garner if asked for one.

Johnson received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role at the 24th Annual Gemini Awards in 2009.

She also received two nominations as Best Actress for her role in Flashpoint at the Monte Carlo TV Festival.

Johnson has directed and produced two acclaimed short films: Bent (2013) and Lines (2014). She then went on to direct the feature film The Space Between. In 2018, she began working on her next film, Tammy's Always Dying.

Johnson is also a singer-songwriter and has released three albums: The Trans-American Treatment (2001), Imperfect (2005), and Never Broken (2013). And she has performed in the Los Angeles area with The Amy Jo Johnson Band.

Has the distinction of being one of only two (including Jason David Frank) original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers cast members to appear in all three of the franchise's theatrically released films, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995), Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997), and Saban's Power Rangers (2017).

Where Are They Now: In 2019, Johnson is working on a TV Mini-Series titled The Has Been, according to imdb, is about an aging bankrupt "A-list" actress who desperately turns to the Comic Con world to pay off her looming debts. And Johnson's next directorial effort Tammy's Always Dying is currently in post-production.
