Review: If you frequented your local video store on a regular basis in the '80s then chances are that you have seen a Cannon Film or two. 'Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films' tells the outrageous story of Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus - two movie-obsessed cousins that changed the face, and quality, of independent film making with The Cannon Film Group, Inc. With a list of movies like Invasion USA, Bolero, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, Ninja 3: The Domination, King Solomon's Mines, Lifeforce, Missing In Action, Over The Top, Masters Of The Universe, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, and several Death Wish sequels, it would appear that Cannon Films was destine for failure... which was the case in 1994. This documentary has to be seen to be believed. If you grew up in a video store like I did, you're going to love this trip down movie memory lane and rediscover some of the worst, cheapest, lousiest, raunchiest, atrocious, despicable, depraved, abominable motion pictures ever made.
