Movie Title: I Sell the Dead
Writer: Glenn McQuaid, Keti Stamo
Starring: Dominic Monaghan, Larry Fessenden, Angus Scrimm, Ron Perlman, Brenda Cooney, John Speredakos
Review: In the 18th century, a grave robber (Dominic Monaghan) reflects on his life of crime as he confesses to a priest (Ron Perlman). This horror comedy pays homage to Hammer Films and Roger Corman in the best possible way. Everyone is having fun on-screen with all of the gross-out effects, clever visuals, and the comedic dialogue. The biggest detriment to this gothic-horror tribute is the small budget. It's really noticeable and becomes distracting at times, but I enjoyed this one. John Landis' 'Burke and Hare' is much better.
Fun Fact: Angus Scrimm did his own violin playing.
