Review: A trio of terrifying tales including a vengeful wooden Native American, a monstrous blob in a lake, and a hitchhiker who wants revenge, are here to scare you silly! Released 5 years after the original, Creepshow 2 is much more of a streamlined horror anthology without the style and tongue-in-cheek nature of the George A. Romero classic, even though he authored this production. It's more gruesome, bloody, and trashy than the original and is definitely a step down in quality. The stories are interesting enough, "The Raft" is definitely the best of the bunch, but the weak direction, low budget, and bad acting hurt the level of enjoyment rather than help it. For true horror fans it's worth a watch, but if you're looking for a quality horror anthology film just stick with the original Creepshow.

Fun Fact: During the second segment, "The Raft", Laverne is wearing a shirt from "Horlicks University", the same university stenciled on the crate from Creepshow (1982).
